Akron's Bringers of War

Our travels have led to an abandoned monastery on the island of Vicante. The monastery had seen better times and we only wanted to make camp for the night there. When we looked further, to our surprise, some of the rooms where in fairly decent shape and blundering forth, we found the entrance to a old part of the library. Here we found information regarding the training of a special group of Akron's priests who where known under the name of Bringers of War.
From the information gathered, we must assume that entry into this order was regulated by a strict set of trials, but some special knowledge was gained in return.

Akron's Bringers of War
To Akron, war and fighting is like the force of nature. War and fighting come and go with the flow of time. Akron does not take sides, though he is known to favor good. Still, all who ask for weapons or armor and seem worthy, will be supported if their goal is a fair fight. He feels fights should be quick and open, but should never rely on cheating. In the end a victory should always blaze with valor and honor and this can not be achieved by foul play.
The bringers of war have marked these words in their harts and have devoted their life to two things: worshipping of Akron and protection of the weak. As far as we can tell, the bringers of war would kill any man who betrayed their code of honor.
Tales that have been lost for ages have now been recovered that tell of several of bringers of war chanting their warsong during fierce battles. It must indeed have been an intimidating sound, to hear them sing this over the rumor of battle.

Class Features
Akron's Boon: For purposes of determining the benefit gained from the chosen domains of Akron, Bringers of War add their cleric and Bringer of War levels to determine the benefits. For example a cleric 7 / Bringer of War 2 character would receive a +9 strength bonus when calling on the granted power of the strength domain. Characters that have not chosen domains prior to joining the Bringers of War, do so when joining the Bringers of War.
+1 Caster Level: The focus on fighting takes a heavy toll and so it is not at every level that a Bringer of War gains more knowledge of the divine powers of his god. Still at each even level, the Bringer of War gains a caster level in his previous divine spellcasting class. This level is only used to determine his spellcasting ability and his turning of undead ability. He does not gain any other benefits of this class like the Paladins special mount.
If a character had more then one divine spellcasting class before he became a Bringer of War, the player must decide (upon entering the Bringer of War class) to which class these levels will be added.
Rally: A Bringer of War, who is not suffering from a fear affect can use this ability as a standard action once per day. Allies within 60 ft who are suffering from a fear effect and can hear the Bringer of War utter a prayer are allowed an immediate will save against the original DC, with a moral bonus equal to the Bringer of War's level.
Prestige domain(Glory): As the Bringer of War shines brighter and brighter with the light of Akron, his god will grant him more powers and new spells. Akron achieves this by giving the Bringer of War access to the prestige domain of Glory. This prestige domain is the prestige domain of Glory as published in Defenders of the Faith.
Fearful Aura: At fifth level, the Bringer of War can wield his weapon with such prowess, that he can instill fear in the harts of his opponents. Once per day the Bringer of War can project a aura of fear to a radius of 20 feet for one round per Bringer of War level. Opponents must make a will save (DC 14 + Cha Modifier) or be affected as if by a fear spell. At tenth level, a Bringer of War's
Weapon Specialization (Bastardsword): Bringers of War do not only put a lot of effort in learning spells, but to please Akron they also invest a lot of effort in the path of the fighter. At seventh level, they gain the weapons specialization feat for their Bastardsword, as per the fighter feat with the same name.
Implacable Foe: At ninth level a Bringer of War can channel so much positive energy to allies within a 100 feet radius that they will ignore their wounds. Using this ability is a move equivalent action and requires concentration. While in use, allies within the radius continue to fight until they are at -20 hit points, at which point death occurs instantaneous. When the ability ends, either because the Bringer of War ceases to concentrate, misses a concentration check or becomes disabled, then the full effect of damage is also felt by his allies.
Immunity to Fear: At tenth level a Bringer of War (just like a Paladin) becomes immune to all kinds of fear.

Multiclass note: Following the path of the Bringers of War is a demanding path. Bringers of War who gain levels outside of the Bringers of War class must make a quest of atonement and lose 2500 experience points before they can gain further levels as a Bringer of War.

Joining the Bringers of War
From the documentation we have found, Bringers of War would have had to prove their worth in a fight to the death, for a noble cause. However, as there seem to be no Bringers of War left on Vicante, we assume that anyone who found the proper books and took the time to practice, would be able to pick up the line and start the order again.
