Goddess of artists, lovers, bards en elves. She combines both beauty and love to form a sweet union. According some to sweet a union to be true. They do not hold her for a god, but just a fraud of long ago.
Aphrodite is a whimsical, passion goddess that is revered because of her generous nature that deals new life everywhere. The only thing that she will not promote to gather more pleasure, is taking up arms.
Holy grounds
Aphrodite's temples tend to be a center of joy and love. Many a times did she tell her clerics to promote love and passion in all possible ways. Her temples are adorned with statues of women and men wearing next to nothing or nothing at all.
The temple itself usually is a simple square room, with pillars standing at the entrance. Often these pillars are female figures. The floor of a temple is normally covered with a thick carpet, with a shell motive, however the motive tends not to be to visible due to all the pillows that are lying around.
Attending services
Clerics are supposed to attend service at least every week, but if they have spent more then two hours in real passion that week, they are excused. Other divine magic users may attend service every two weeks, or spend two hours in total passion during these two weeks. Any other follower is welcome and will receive his due share of attention, no matter how long he has not spend time in temple.
When Clerics are not busy with other matters, they tend to try to couple other people. They are known for their skillful matchmaking.
