These pages take you to some of my interests:

• Software development - OK, it's my profession, but it's a hobby, too. And when it's done as a hobby, there's freedom to make what you want, the way you want it. The Beautiful Utilities Group (B.U.G.) consists of a small group who share the enjoyment of, especially, creating useful, usable tools.
• Garden railways. The railway virus took me at an early age, and has never left. I don't need treatment now, thank you; it is all relatively under control. A railway in the garden is closer to 'the real thing' than anything cooked up in the attic (or cellar, or wherever the spouse allows...) if only for the sheer size.
• Photography. There's not a lot on these pages about it. In fact, nothing apart from a link here or there. It's just a hobby, and it is a great one to have next to railways (whether in the garden or not). And one day, when the garden railway goes digital, all of these hobbies will sort of merge into one big one. Can't wait.
