We live at the Netherlands, Europe and we like to tell you more about ourselfs. Both Ron and Yvon have been their entire live busy with animals. Especially dogs because of the bond they create with people. We love dogs who still have the looks and character of dogs close to nature. That's why we are very fond of the Saarlooswolfdog and the Indian dogs. We have met each other at a shelter for cats and dogs many years ago. Ron worked there and Yvon was volunteering every weekend.
Ron has been a manager at a boarding kennel for dogs and cats for many years and knows a lot about dog behaviour and especially of dogs in groups. A lot of the Indian dogs at the Netherlands and Belgium have spend some time at the kennels when their owners have their holidays.

We spend all of our spare time with the dogs. We love to make long walks and everytime we are searching for different places to walk. With all the dogs Yvon has done some obedience training and after it with some of them sports like agility, herding or doggy dancing. Yvon is still doing agility, nosework/tracking, dogscootering and draglure racing with the dogs
We are allways interested in all the different training techniques and still believe that training must be with positive reinforcement but from every kind of training we can learn something we can use for our dogs.

Mahika at agility
We live at a town called Hellevoetsluis. It is near the beach and we spend a lot of time at the beach with the dogs. We have some beautifull "wet" dunes nearby who are famous of their special plants and birds. Because of these birds and other animals like the roe it is not allowed to have your dogs off leash but you can make some great walks there. On the beach they can run off leash and have fun together with playing, swimming and chasing birds....
In the beginning we only wanted to have fun with the dogs and never thought of having a litter of one of our dogs. But now that Mahika has grown into a nice looking and healthy (X-ray are taken) female dog with a lovely character we decided to import a male dog (husky/wolf/coyote cross) from the USA and try to get a litter from these two in the future. When this beautifull pup Sage has grown up into a healthy and lovely boy we will use him to be the father of the pups of Mahika.* Sage lives with friends and we see him very regular.
*Alltough we have tried to breed the two of them this has not succeeded and we stop trying because Mahika will be to old to have a first litter in an responsible way.
Once again these dogs are not registered and are not an official breed with a pedigree. They are mixed breed dogs.
But they are great companions and a friend for life if you want a dog with a natural character.
