Lockheed L-1011-500 TriStar - Air IndiaTwo Lockheed TriStar-500s have flown in the colours of Air India for a short time in 1995-1996. The aircraft were operated by the airline Caribjet on behalf of Air India and were flown on longhaul routes from Bombay and Delhi to European destinations like Frankfurt, Amsterdam and Paris. The TriStars were ex-TAP aircraft. The aircraft on the picture is seen at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. |
