Lockheed L-1011 TriStar - Gulf Air

Gulf Air flew the Lockheed TriStar in a beautiful livery. The flew 11 L-1011s (-100 and -200 versions). Gulf Air started operations in 1950 as Gulf Aviation. In 1973 it became the national airline of Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Oman an Qatar and was renamed Gulf Air. Qatar recently withdrew, because it started its own airline Qatar Airways.
