As reply to my mail, asking for latest info on OS, I got this mail from Kawai US:

The W model’s current OS version is 4.03, while the S & R have v4.04 (which I’ve attached).

Download and store the zip file on your PC, somewhere easy to find (like the Desktop).

Format an HD disk in the K5kR.

Extract the OS file DIRECTLY to this floppy.

(if you need it, download and install the FREE evaluation copy at www.winzip.com)

Power up the K5kR with this floppy while holding the F8 button.

Loading the OS will give you all new sounds, so remember to backup any tones you want to keep.
