Born and raised on the island of Kaua'i, Hawaii, Glenn began performing for visitors on his father's tour bus before he was ten years old. His music teacher in elementary school, Arnold Meister, did his part along with Glenn's father to make sure that Glenn would overcome his fear of being on stage and share with the rest of the world his love for singing.

During Glenn's teenage years, he acted in plays, joined the high school band, and entered many talent contests. Although he did quite well in the contests he entered, the last one he sang in began his rise stardom. Yes, the name of the contest he entered was called Hawaii's "Brown Bags to Stardom." At the time, it was the biggest talent show in Hawaii. Every school in the State of Hawaii sent a representative to compete in a statewide final. Glenn was lucky enough to win the state championship in 1986.

The the winner of Hawaii's "Brown Bags to Stardom" contest, Glenn was given the opportunity to record a song in the studio at no cost. The song he chose along with his manager Jay Stone (then, Program Director of I-94), was called "Nothing's Gonna Change My Love For You." Glenn was a huge George Benson fan and always wondered why that song never became a hit. This was his opportunity to make that happen. Little did he know that in two years, that song he recorded would go on to sell millions, become a #1 song in almost every country it was released in, and begin a long and successful career for the new international recording artist.

In the fifteen years that Glenn has been singing profesionally, he has had most of his success in the European and Asian continents. Thanks to the help of his long time manager Lenny Silver and everyone at Amherst Records, Glenn's career has had unusual longevity. Glenn believes his long-term success is mainly due to lasting power of the song he first recorded in Hawaii fifteen years ago. You can still hear it on the radio today.

Today Glenn continues to perform in Hawaii for special engagements. He writes music for himself and others, and is now fullfiling his dream of becoming a teacher. In a little over a year, Glenn will attain his Masters Degree in Education from the University of Phoenix-Hawaii. Someday Glenn plans to write a book about his experiences as a young boy from Hawaii who made it to the top as a teenage singing sensation.
