Roger is unmistakable the big leader of the Pink Floyd (1968 - 1983). During many years, from Atom Heart Mother via Dark Side to The Wall, he has become more and more the chief text- and songwriter. So he is the ‘face’ of the band. He has been in trouble with many persons, especially with Rick, who is dismissed by Roger during the recording of The Wall. Later on he has a big fight with Dave and Nick on the name Pink Floyd. They continued the band without Roger, with a lot of success.
Roger is peremptory, he knows exactly what he wants. He feels elevated from the rest of Pink Floyd. He is intellectual, very sensitive, passionated and ambitious.

For me Roger is Enneatype 8 the leader, the asserter, the confronter.
Roger has learned to show more compassion to the others, to accept his own weakness. On later age he has returned to the love of the heart (Each Small Candle!!). Now he is working on his new solo CD and again to the opera Ca Ira. The CD of this opera will be delivered during 2004.
