This mill is situated near the coast, south-west of the city of Bayamo. It has a 762mm gauge network (used to be 914mm).
The mill has survived the mill closure programma and has continued to work until today. It seems the mill has only used class TU7E in recent years. To keep them running, dumped class TU7E from the closed Obdulio Morales mill (705mm gauge) have been moved to the Robert Ramirez Delgado mill.
