TGV Thalys


                                           The Thalys is the International TGV service between: Amsterdam - Brussels - Paris / Cologne - Brussels - Paris.

                                                                                Below you can see the Thalys network.

                                                           

The Thalys came into service in 1996. In summer there are 7 services from Amsterdam to Paris, witch comes on 1 train every 2 hours to Paris or Amsterdam. Also there are two Thalys services an hour between Paris and Brussels. In winter Thalys trains operates from Amsterdam to the French Alps, in summer there are services to Valence TGV, Avignon TGV and Marseille. ( this is the longest High speed train service in the world).

                                                        The Thalys network is being used by two type's of TGV's.

                                                            1. TGV PBA    ( Paris - Brussels - Amsterdam )

                                                            2. TGV PBKA ( Paris - Brussels - Colone - Amsterdam )
