Whistler Village Gondola This gondola takes 20 minutes to reach 1850m up Whistler Mountain. The highest peak of the mountain, the Whistler Peak is situated at 2182m. However, the entrance to this peak has been closed. They do have a trail to Little Whistler Peak at 2115m height. From here you have a wonderful view overlooking the surrounding area. In total there are more than 48 km trails to walk, of which some of them are through alpine meadows and others on hard granite paths.

Hat Creek Ranch In 1861 Donald Mclean of the Hudson’s Bay Company built the Hat Creek House. Soon it became a popular stop for gold diggers who moved from the Cariboo Waggon Road to the gold fields. At present, you can still admire the house in its original state. Furthermore, you can find at the grounds, among others a big

stable, which was built in 1890 by Steve Tingley, and a blacksmith. In a separate part they have reconstructed a Shuswap Indian village.
Hat Creek House

Lillooet This little town, situated on the Fraser river, was the starting The Mile Zero monument at Lillooetpoint of the Cariboo Waggon Road, which led to the gold fields of Barkerville. This point is indicated by the “Mile Zero” monument. In 1863 the number of inhabitants was increased to 15,000. In those days, it was one of the biggest cities north of San Francisco.
