Today we travel separated. Remko and Hans go Whale Watching and Renate goes to the Royal British Columbia Museum. The men put on their survival suit and Renate waved them goodbye at 10:30 AM. The museum was spectacular. It shows the whole history from the ice age until the year 1990. You can see a mammoth at Remko and Hans in the zodiac, ready to visit the orcas full size. There are also moose, sea lions, bears, birds, deer etc. At 1:30 PM the men came back full of exciting stories. It was a little bit quiet in the zodiac because there were only 4 people for the trip. They had seen a group of orcas and Renate could see it all on the movie Remko had shot. We got a cup of coffee and made some sandwiches which we ate at our terraced roof...

Next it's time for shopping. Hans bought a souvenir, a small stone statue of a bear (Bubha). Remko and Renate bought 4 Starbucks mugs, a calendar and a small ring for Tessa. And again we are going to eat at our favourite Italian Restaurant. We enjoyed our meals and the delicious whine ( 2 bottles of Lambrusco!). Remko had to reorganize his suitcase because of the many souvenirs. Tomorrow we have to breakfast early and we are going to visit the Butchart Gardens before we go to the ferry to Vancouver for our final night. But first we took a bath at the penthouse for the last time and after that we go to sleep...
