Itinerary From Penticton take Highway 97. Just beyond Enderby, the 97 divides. Keep on 97a. At Sicamous, the road turns into Highway 1. Follow Highway 1 to Revelstoke.

Along the way On the route from Penticton to Revelstoke you pass a great number of places: Summerland, Peachland, Westbank and Kelowna. At all these places, fruit growing plays a big role.

In Vernon it’s certainly worthwhile to take a break at the Kalamalka Lake, the little beaches on the east banks of the lake are perfect to take a swim in the warm water. From here however there’s still a long way to drive.

Do stop at Craigellachie, where the last spike was hit in the Canadian Pacific Railway. The hotel is situated in Three Valley Gap where you can also find a “Ghost Town”.
