We have a simple continental breakfast at the hotel. After this we step into the car on our way to Revelstoke. On our way we stop at a coffee shop for a mocha coffee. Quickly we continue our trip to a beautiful vista point with a nice view over the Kalamalka Lake. The look was so attractive that we decided to drive to the beach where Hans and Remko(in his Sloggie!) took a dip in the lake. This beautiful lake was surrounded by woods and mountains. At 2:15 PM we get into the car. After a long drive and a lunch break at a Subway the Three Valley Lake Chateau hotel is finally in sight. This huge building with a bright red roof is beautiful situated at the lake. As a surprise for our seventh wedding anniversary, Remko had hired the highest suite of the hotel, the so-called "Eaglesnest" . This suite had a gigantic room with an extra room upstairs and also a big bathroom. After we freshen up we drove to Revelstoke which is about 15 minutes away from our hotel. The restaurant was very cosy and on our way back we have to drive between the mountains and woods in the pitch-darkness. So this was a little bit exciting. At night we took a delicious bath. We slept well but sometimes we were shaking in bed when a goods train with more than 105 wagons passing by. Yes indeed, we counted them!
