As usually we get up early and at 9:15 AM were
already in our car. We are leaving the city through the 'scariest' neighbourhood
of Vancouver
and go on our way to Penticton.
For breakfast we stop at 
Denny's
and surprisely it tasted well. We continue our way to Fort
Langley. Formerly this old fort was a trading place along the Fraser river.
Some actors dressed in original cloths from former days were playing a role.
It was nice to see. After this we drive to the Manning
Provincial Park for a walk around the Beaver Lake. In to the car again
and up to a vista point at the Cascade
Mountains. Here you have a fantastic prospect view so we quickly took
some pictures. It's getting late so we continue our way through the mountains
to Penticton. Finally
at 08:00 PM we arrived at the hotel.
It's a nice hotel with folding doors at the poolside. Remko and Hans got some
food at the Chinese restaurant. It tasted not as good as at home, but after
all we have to eat something. Fear Factory (now or neverland) was on television
which was funny to see here. We were tired so we went sleeping. Tomorrow we
have to drive a long way.
