Route Revelstoke to Banff

Distance  280 KM (175 miles)/4 hours

Itinerary The way to Banff is very simple. From Revelstoke take Highway 1 and continue this way until you reach Banff.

Along the way Leave early because there is a lot to see along the way. The first place of interest is the Rogers Pass in the Glacier National Park. Pay attention to the sign Time Zone, after this sign we are in the Mountain Time which means that we have to set our watch 1 hour ahead.

Then we drive on to the Yoho National Park. Here you can visit successively the Natural Bridge, the Emerald Lake and the Takakkaw Falls. Via the Kicking Horse Pass we enter the Banff National Park and we stop at Lake Louise for a while. After this, it’s only a short drive to Banff.
