Mario Baert - DOW employees

When a DOW employee moves to another job, or retires, in Terneuzen they've gotten used to giving that employee a framed cartoon of that person. Showing a bit of history or anecdotes or some quotes from people. It really depends on the department involved (and the person of course). At some point I was asked to do one and obviously the word has gone around. I even had to turn them down a couple of times because there wasn't enough time, either to get the job done, or because I've had other jobs in the way. At the moment I have them inform me a month ahead as otherwise I can't schedule them in!

It even got some other clients inspired as I've even done some for other companies as well now. A sample for LatinFinance is shown also.

These are fun to do and it's a change from the other work, being a bit more loose and pretty quick turnaround. The drawings are inked and colored in with colored pencil. The LatinFinance drawing is colored in Photoshop after scanning the ink drawing.
