Arthur & Ashton

Arthur & Ashton is a company that produces quality leather lady's bags.

The art director asked me to produce 3 comic-type drawings to be used for magazine ads and banners for in the store.

All drawings were sketched and inked on paper, then scanned in and colored in using Photoshop using flat and gradient colors. The drawings went thru some adjustments, suggested by the art director, but in most cases for the better. Illustration, to my feeling, is a bit of teamwork, as the client has to be happy with the end result too.

A half year later, the art director called me again to do two more, in one (the plane) an already existing background was dropped in. I repositioned some elements and drew the lady .
