Sorry, couldn't resist... (Thanks, Roger)!Ah, you found one of the hidden pages of the virtual scrap-book. These hidden pages can be found throughout the pages on this site, so keep clicking everywhere!!! This particular page contains some pictures of de Vliegerende Hollander and was designed for personal satisfaction only. But as you are here, enjoy the photographs and the notes with them!

Krakatau Festival 1997Festival of the Winds 1998The photograph right was taken by *** on the Festival of the Winds 1998 (Bondi Beach, Australia). Here De Vliegerende Hollander is assembling a box-kite made by *** (Germany, one of the "provinces" of the Greater Netherlands ;-)).

The photograph left was taken on a boat trip to the Anak Krakatau volcano after the Krakatau Festival 1997 (Lampung, Indonesia). It was taken by John Murray while de Vliegerende Hollander is flying a cheap kite and listening to some hard-rock music to tune out the hard-rock from the engine.

To Bali (International) Kite Festival 1998The left photograph was made, and likely edited, by Fabienne & Thibault Nieudan from France. Here De Vliegerende Hollander enchants a local dancer with his fabulous dancing skills and simultaneously proved himself the biggest idiot available.

The right photograph was taken by DN Yusuf from the magazine Angkasa during the Jakarta International Kite Festival 2000. The picture in the back is a Sanjo Rokkaku with a self-portrait in reflective tape for night-flying.
