Carrying Words.

Homeland

Remember, places from long ago
Old fires burning
faces turning
Young people learning
growing
yearning
Turning away
settled down, a new place to stay
It's still in your eyes
It's still in my eyes
Nothing left to prove
Nothing left to search for
Slowly we're returning
Back to places from long ago
Back to our homeland.
That's where we need to go
Back home
Back to our homeland
Tell me,
Do you remember?
The fields of green?
Mountain streams?
Our homeland
We need to go back soon to
Places from long ago
Old fires burning
The times when we were learning
Remember! Don't turn away
Never forget
Our homeland (It's still in your eyes)
Remember!
Never forget
Our homeland (It's still in my eyes)
After to many years
Back to where we once started
