Atlantic Wall in the Netherlands
Flak Batterie Olmen => Baupunkt 82
|
FL244. This is a fire control post for heavy anti aircraft
batteries. Inside the circle, which can be seen on the photo, there was
a range finder. The two squares were for observation.
The drawing above shows the rooms and the function of those rooms. The bunker is in a very bad condition. |

Whe don't know where this bunker was used for. The bunker has two steel doors (see picture). There is just one room behind these doors. These days it is partially under the sand. |

Observation-post
![]() |
This is an observation post directed in-land. It is
much smaller than the normal German observation posts. Some observation-posts
of this kind have a steel roof, but this one carries the normal thin concrete
roof. The picture on the left shows the covered trench from the bowling
alley to the observationpost.

Bowling-alley
![]() |
The picture on the left shows the bowling alley. It was just one big room with two entrances and a covered trench going to an observationpost. |
Unknown bunker
![]() |
We don't know what was the purpose of this bunker, but it looks like
a quarter or so. Above the entrances there is an "X" painted.
This kind of numbering can't be found on other places of the battery.
