Atlantic Wall in The Netherlands
Baupunkt 14b (Seezeil batterie Vineta)

| The Fire control post of battery Vineta is from origin the fire-control-post
of "batterij V". This Battery-V was a Dutch battery with some
open emplacements. The Germans found these guns blown up. The Leitstand
was still there.
The picture right-up shows the front of the structure. You can see that the observation-window is closed with wood. Probably this was to protect the people inside the post at the moment of attacks. The picture right-under thows the entrance of the fire control post. Next to it a quarter was build. This quarter can also be seen on the picture. |
|
| This is the fl246 ammunition-depot. You can see the two entrances.
Two of these depots were build here. We have only this one at the page.

This is the outside of the 671 SK. The bunkers were build late in the war. You can see some texture in the concrete, this was made by placing paper bags in the concrete. |
| Here a view through the combat-room with the way down to the Case.
The other photo is the stairway from the Dutch bunker to the 671 SK |

| Wurzburg Riese
At Vineta we found a piece of concrete that looks like the foundation of a wurzburg riese. A Wurzburg-riese was a German Radar-system. For more info about the Wurzburg-system: Wurzburg
