Baupunkt 223 Mammut Gerat Erika

This German position in the west of The Hague was containing three fortifications with walls and roofs of two meters of reinforced concrete.
The biggest of the fortifications was a V143-pillbox which contained the equipment of a mammut-radersystem. The pillbox itself also had the role of being the fundation of the huge antenna which was build on top of the bunker.

The groundplan of the V143.

This picture shows the machine-room.

You can clearly see a wallpainting telling how to use the air-equipment in case of an gas-attack.

A part of the registration number 8656.

Here the cables used to go through the two metres thick roof to the antenna.
